The Sacramento Bee's Primary Recommendations

The Sacramento Bee has today published its list of primary recommendations for both the Democratic and Republican primaries.

On the Democratic side the Bee recommends Phil Angelides for Governor, Jackie Speier for Lieutenant Governor, Rocky Delgadillo for Attorney General, John Chiang for Controller, Debra Bowen for Secretary of State, and Bill Lockyer for Treasurer.

Most interesting are the Bee's recommendations for the primaries in the 4th Congressional District. On the Democratic side they're going for Charlie Brown, no big surprise there. However, it's interesting to note that the Sacramento Bee has jumped on the "Dump Doolittle" bandwagon and recommends to vote for Doolittle's challenger in the Republican primary, Mike Holmes. It will be very interesting to see how big a share of a vote Mike Holmes will get or if he will even be able to upset conventional wisdom and win against Doolittle on Tuesday. Whoever the Republican nominee will be, we'll have a very good pick-up chance here in November.
