Rob Haswell Trying to Make History

Rob Haswell is running for the California Assembly from the conservative 4th District. Ahead of tomorrow's primary they're trying to get all the attention they can aiming for a win in November:

In two weeks, the Democratic State Assembly nominees will be meeting with Speaker Fabian Nunez. In recent elections, the Democratic Party has largely ignored the 4th Assembly District race, deeming it "unwinnable" and unworthy of support. Going into that meeting, having raised $50,000 -- on our own -- will send a powerful message to party leaders that we intend to fight and win this race in November and will increase the chance of gaining Democratic Party support.

Come November, our victory will send a message to the politicians of this district and of this state that, as citizens, we will not stand down and watch our democracy and our quality of life get sold off to the highest bidder.

This is one of those campaigns where family members are actually involved and care about the fact that their husband, wife or father is running instead of just posing as the pseudo all American family for pictures. Rob Haswell's wife Kim is doing a terrific job for the campaign. If Rob wins in November it will be in large part due to the efforts of his wife.

Support Rob Haswell for Assembly!
