- McAvoy Lane has a funny piece in the North Lake Tahoe Bonanza. The headline: "Can Americans sue the president for identity theft?" (Link)
- Justin Peel is this year's valedictorian at George Whittel High School which I attended as an exchange student ten years ago. The Tahoe Daily Tribune reports that before he'll be going to Santa Clara University this fall he plans to travel to Germany, Switzerland and Italy. - The Las Vegas Review-Journal report that Governor "Guinn comes close to endorsing Hunt". Whatever. (Link)
- Jane Eisner points out that "amending values doesn't work" and that "most successful attempts to amend the Constitution are pushed by social movements of inclusion, not exclusion". The Republicans should take note that the only "values" amendment ever passed, was followed by another amendment a couple of years later retracting the first one. That was the one about the prohibition. (Link)
