Turn Tahoe Blue Mentioned in the Reno Gazette-Journal

Turn Tahoe Blue has only been online for about three weeks now and it has already been mentioned in an article by the Reno Gazette-Journal last week headlined "Nevada bloggers opine online":
The thing about blogs is that they are like diaries in a lot of ways. They can be rambling and boring except to the person writing them or else confessional and embarassing. Often, they are abandoned just as quickly as that diary you wrote in three times junior year. But Reno has a handful of really good, dedicated bloggers worth reading.

Some of them write personal blogs about their lives and the people in their lives and others work hard to provide information about Reno news and views.

...

The rest of Northern Nevada seems to be consumed with politics, and they all talk about it on their blogs: desertbeacon.blogspot.com; www.lyoncountydems.blogspot.com; turntahoeblue.blogspot.com; and www.turnnevadablue.com. All those have a liberal bent.
Now, I'm doing a half-way regular news roundup and still missed this article. Shame on me. Found it via Technorati. It was posted by the blogger who was mainly covered in the article. Serves me right only looking at the politics and opinion sections of the papers...

just a small point of information, i was not the blogger covered by the article. i was only a passing mention at the end. i'm one of the blogs they said was "on the other side".

i posted the article because it made me laugh at being mentioned in minute passing by the reporter who seems to have done a simple "google=reno blogs" search.

keep up the good work.
